Project Management

The Health Predictions Pharma team collaborate with our clinical trial study partners during the establishment phase with the aim of optimising the ease in which investigator sites are able to offer home nursing services to their study participant subjects. Informative site training sessions are held where the site is provided with the procedures and documentation required to facilitate the subjects receiving nurse visits for study specific procedures in the comfort of their own homes. These services encourage subject participation while increasing site capacity. Our strong processes ensure thorough training delivery, leading to clear and outstanding outcomes within the homecare nursing environment. Collaborators include parties from the clinical trial sponsor team, the principal investigator and study coordinators of the site ensuring the implementation of the most thorough and effective project management systems.

The site is introduced to the benefits of home care nursing and how it adds to the overall success of the trial. The completion of trial activities in the subject’s home is both convenient and comfortable and encourages participation, as the requirement for regular visits to the site are reduced. While the subject is no longer required to attend the site as often, this results in an increase in the consultation capacity too. Health Predictions Pharma arrange for the investigator site set up, project manage the nurse visits, document and manage distribution of study samples required for analysis as required for the study.

Documentation

The documentation management process is refined and thorough to ensure that all required and relevant information is captured in full during the visit. All nursing personnel are trained to ensure that they hold Good Clinical Practice accreditation. They are also trained to ensure competency in using study specific home nursing worksheets and/or any study specific electronic data management platforms required for data collected during their visits. All documentation (hard copy and electronic), is reviewed through multiple channels ensuring a quality outcome. In addition, all data is securely stored in accredited facilities and secure destruction disposal is implemented when required.

Several clinical trial studies facilitate the use of online e-source platforms for the recording, sharing and storage of data between all involved parties. Health Predictions Pharma facilitates this with the Investigator site, nursing and medical personnel and other clinical trial partners.

Laboratory kits and medical equipment

Health Predictions Pharma holds a stock of kits for all nursing visits. These kits include all necessary study specific tubes and other supplies needed to each specific visit type. Equipment is also held which may include a mobile centrifuge or Electrocardiogram machine for example. All nurses are furnished with the equipment, kits and other ancillary supplies needed which they bring with them to the subjects home for use during the visit. We take pride in our service to provide kits and equipment for our studies and home nurses. The subject is therefore not required to collect or store any study specific items in their home. 

Levels of Management

The Heath Predictions Pharma team of Clinical Trial Coordinators liaise with all parties within the study from CRAs to the Sites Principal and Sub-Investigators, Study Coordinators, and Research Managers to ensure the most effective communication and management.
